How we work

Measure the work first. Build only what the evidence supports.

Our five-stage framework keeps the business decision ahead of the technology choice. A recommendation can be to automate now, improve the process first, investigate later, or not automate.

1

Understand

Observe the real workflow with its owner, examples, exceptions, volumes, systems, and constraints.

2

Quantify

Establish a representative baseline for time, loaded labour, frequency, errors, delays, and dependencies.

3

Connect

Choose the least complex viable connection: configuration, API, webhook, export, file exchange, or custom integration.

4

Orchestrate

Define rules, human approvals, exception handling, permissions, logging, and the boundary between prototype and production.

5

Measure and improve

Validate against the agreed baseline and method, document results, then improve only within confirmed operating scope.

Principles behind the framework

Measure before building

Calculator outputs are estimates. The Audit replaces defaults with observed evidence before a Build is proposed.

Stay tool-neutral

We compare the tools already in place, commercial products, lightweight automation, custom code, and hybrid delivery against business requirements.

Know when not to automate

Unstable processes, unreliable inputs, low volume, unclear accountability, or disproportionate risk are reasons to stop or redesign first.

Separate prototype from production

A Full Audit prototype demonstrates feasibility. Production requires agreed reliability, security, testing, observability, documentation, and acceptance work.

Make measurement reproducible

A written target exists only when the baseline, source data, calculation, dependencies, verification period, and remedy are defined in the Build agreement.

Find out whether an Audit is worth it.

In 30 minutes, we will review one workflow, tell you whether it looks suitable for automation, and explain the most sensible next step. If an Audit is not justified, we will say so.

No obligation. Directly with a founder.
